| 460231 | 2006-06-04 01:40:00 | How would WinXP Home run on a PC with 256 Mhz RAM and 800 Mhz P3? I don't want to go by MS minimum requirements - would rather get feedback from those who have used WinXP on a sub 1Ghz system. Not for gaming, just word processing and Publisher. Maybe email. |

| 460237 | 2006-06-04 06:37:00 | done it with AMD K-6 500Mhz with 256mb ram do and learn some tweaks that can speed things up especially those appearance and pretty looking things disable the animations and similar things might want to take out some feature when browing files um..forgot what that's called..that panel thingy on the left what i did was to make it look as close to window 2000 on the outside and it ran faster |
