| 461167 | 2006-06-06 10:18:00 | Ive had my laptop for nine months and its works very well, once a week i use it on the battery for two hours but have noticed lately that i now only get one and a half hours out of the battery compared to three hours when i got it.Has anybody got any idea of how long is the life of a rechargeable battery supposed to last in yearly terms please. | Hitech (9024) | ||
| 461168 | 2006-06-06 12:58:00 | The life is in charge-discharge cycles rather than time, but charge it up, run it down to cutoff, repeat this one more time then fully charge it and you should have most of the capacity back. If you don't, a new battery is indicated. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
