| 460848 | 2006-06-06 00:54:00 | I am trying to help my sister in law set up a new Acer computer. It is the latest multi-media version. One problem that I have is that the shortcuts and other icons that are in the desktop folder are not displaying on the screen. I have created new shortcuts and moved them to the desktop but they do not display. They are in the folder. The help file is does not appear to have the information that I need. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. |

| 460852 | 2006-06-10 15:06:00 | Probably this Joe: "Try right clicking on your desktop select active desktop check to see if "show desktop icons" is selected" Try it yourself. Right Click desktop in XP, untick "Show Desktop Icons" |
