| 460635 | 2006-06-05 10:09:00 | Has anybody tried explorer 7 beta 2 i find it more tidier and quicker but lacks some features in the toolbar such as the email icon for example. Let me know what you think of it. Been using it for a couple of weeks and quite like it. With regard to mail as I use gmail there is no problem as I have installed the latest Google Toolbar beta and it has a gmail icon on it (which can be set up to check mail automatically). I find it easier to manage Favourites than in Firefox, and have set up the Search window up the top to use Wikipedia as I have Google on the Toolbar. I like the ability to tile tabs as well - a nice little feature George |

| 460636 | 2006-06-05 10:43:00 | I just downloaded it this weekend . I like most of the new features now that I am getting to know where to find them - along with the old features of IE6 :D . Pleasantly surprised that the install picked up my default search engine (Google) and didn't try to foist MSN Search on me . . . However it has locked up on me a a few times today - which was the original reason I downloaded IE7: IE6 was doing the same . Now I'm beginning to think that M$ doesn't want to play nice with the Google toolbar ("googletoolbar2 . dll") . Seems to mainly occur when I have a number of tabs open . . . I might try turning the toolbar off for a couple of days to see if it makes a difference . |
