460732 2006-06-08 09:59:00 what about ISO,bin,mdf,mds, extention for Linux???

Daemon tools - that can mount all those files, and I think it is easily available for most distros. I haven't got round to burning any CDs/DVDs with Linux - what does everyone use? K3B?

Most of us could be described as enthusiasts - we like to tinker & experiment with our computers, so we are drawn to new & different things.
There are plenty of windows users here, but we don't limit ourselves to only using windows.

460733 2006-06-08 10:04:00 All Linux users in here are know how to talk but don't help. That's what they do. And making excuses about Microsoft users and discourage them but they never help. MTLance (6768)
460734 2006-06-08 10:14:00 Face it, a certain level of intelligence and comprehension is required to delve into the world of Linux, I suggest you head back to Windows, it was tailor made for you....and your kind Metla (12)

OK. Yeah, maybe you're right. I can use Linux for emails, web browsing, and office(means good enough for average PC users). But I do other things in Windows that is not suitable for Linux and I won't tell you what it is.

That's a rather uncharitable thing to say.

Considering how little you have done to help yourself find the answers to the very basic questions you have been asking I'm surprised that anyone has replied to you at all. Some of them have been very generous indeed.

As I said very early on in the piece, people are willing to help those who help themselves rather than expect everything to be fed to them on a spoon. No one has time to hold your hand every step of the way.

Ok. Maybe Linux didn't suit me, because this is like using limited account in XP Windows for me. Plus I cannot learned and adapt Linux at the timing because I have other things to do. Plus I'll be far behind the world again if I use Linux and learn it. I'll missed out a lot of thing too that time.
My parents aren't really great at computers so Windows suit them because in the olden days computer is not their thing. Plus age is catching up for them why learn Linux now since they've learned Windows.

460738 2006-06-08 11:03:00 so you were experimenting with Linux on a shared computer... Greven (91)
460739 2006-06-08 11:03:00 Right, so stop wasting everyone's time and stick with Windows for now until you do have the time and patience to learn Linux. FoxyMX (5)
