460890 2006-06-06 01:30:00 This is more of a cosmetic thing than anything else, but a lot of my files are showing the default windows icon, rather than the icon of the application associated with that file

as an example
php files show the default windows icon, rather than the dreamweaver icon (the app they are associated with, if i click on the file dreamweaver opens as expected)
Whereas jpg files are associated with fireworks and they show the fireworks icon, and of course work fine

just to reiterate, everything works as it should, just the icons aren't showing for some applications

460891 2006-06-06 06:39:00 What did you do recently? Did you do a system restore or something to before these apps were installed? Have you used an 3rd party Icon applications? pctek (84)
460892 2006-06-06 23:57:00 Nothing I can think of

I did try deleting shelliconcache (yesterday evening) to see if that made a difference but to no avail

460893 2006-06-07 00:06:00 Aha - it seems that dreamweaver is the problem, i changed the association for php files to notepad and the icon changed to notepad, changed it back to dreamweaver and the default windows icon returns

No idea how to fix this

righto the image above is what I get when i go to folder options -> file types
as you can see it displays the correct icon next to the PHP FILE text box, but if you look above it, in the folder options box, it shows the default windows icon.
This is the one that is appearing on all php files, I want the dreamweaver one, I know it's a minor petty annoyance, but the fact I can't figure it out is sooooo frustrating
