460584 2006-06-05 06:32:00 A strange problem. A couple of weekends ago the misses poured a large G+T over the keyboard, the keyboard was fried but everything else seemed OK. However, since then if i leave the PC on for an extended period of time i.e overnight in the morning it has gone into hibernation. That is to say it is at the user log-in page (i have only 1 active account) all programs have shut down, my modem has disconnected etc etc. When i press any key everything comes back to life, the modem starts up and all my accounts log in as if i had just turned on the PC.
I am running Windows XP pro SP2, on a 3 year old or so ASUS mobo. The power management is set to 'always on' and hibernation is turned off. Any ideas ???
