| 461376 | 2006-06-07 09:55:00 | Hello, can anyone help me locate a new screen for a HP Jornada 548 PDA? I have tried with HP who don't service this model anymore as it's too old. I have tried ebay U.S and have been trolling around the 'net for a few hours with no luck. Even if I could find one that doesn't work, as long as the screen is intact, I'd be willing to buy it. Thanks |

Servicing of such devices was usually "by total device replacement", even when they were current. Palm PDA's were totally glued together in some series as a graphic demonstration that servicing of PDA's was never considered an economic option. |

I think it's a real shame that such a high tech piece of kit such as this should end up going in the bin. It's such a waste. Thanks again. | Jim.D (4983) | ||
