461327 2006-06-07 05:32:00 Hi all, our work has recently installed a new PABX which has the worst 'On Hold' music you can think of. Unfortunately, we need to plug-in an external CD Stacker to change the music.

So it need to be regular 240v NOT car 12V, connects with RCA jack (output) and not 1 of those that have like 5 CD's on a table that spins (they are too big) rather 1 that stackers CD's on top of one another.

Anybody have any suggetsions

Google isnt that helpful with this search

461328 2006-06-07 05:40:00 You could just use an MP3-CD player with a 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable. I believe DSE sells them for $68 - a lot cheaper than a CD stacker, a lot smaller, and you can also fit more music on it. Erayd (23)

Provided it can be connected to an AC supply.

461331 2006-06-07 06:27:00 Well, yes, mp3 music, of which I have heaps was my 1st suggestion, but the boss wants a CD stacker, perhaps to have content control with regards to licensing etc! SolMiester (139)
461332 2006-06-07 06:47:00 Just go down to your local Noel Leemings, Harvey Normans or similar and see what you can get. Pioneer branded CD stackers which I've used in the past involve a sort of "cartridge" system which you inserted the disks into first, and then stuck the entire thing into the player. somebody (208)
