| 1403771 | 2015-06-28 12:16:00 | If I install Windows 7 Pro 32bit with a pair of 2GB DDR2 RAM the computer works well. If I install Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit I have to remove one of the 2GB DDR2 otherwise I get the BSOD on Boot. I have never found out why. It doesn't matter because it works fine on the Windows 7 Pro 32bit, just wondering. |

Not uncommon on ISO downloaded from certain sites . 7 ultimate isnt commonly seen so Id guess its a pirated ISO, could be rather dodgy & tampered with. Run a mem test on the PC, memtest86+ or similar |

Run a mem test on the PC, memtest86+ or similar Memtest says its Ok. The Ultimate is from a downloaded ISO, but the same installation works fine on my Lenovo with a pair of DDR2 2GB sticks. I have been told that some Dell's have some funny habits! |
