| 1403740 | 2015-06-28 00:14:00 | Hello I have an LG Smart TV It has 3 usb ports which I use to hold usb sticks with various content on them. When I use the remote to select some files to play my LG tv shows the manufacturers name of the usb device. Eg Sandisk, Teac, AccData. But I would like to see the volume labels I have given them. Eg music, music videos, comedy videos etc. Any suggestions ? |

I cannot remember that moves are on Sandisk and that music is on Cruzer etc. I'd just like to be able to see the volume labels not the manufacturers name. |

There is a .inf file that you can edit to change the icon and name of a flash drive in windows but no Idea if your TV would read that file or not. Instructions here www.techerator.com Otherwise maybe invest in a single large flash drive and create 3 folders on it :) |
