| 1402694 | 2015-06-13 22:19:00 | Hey Guys One of my favorite games is The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, It ran fine on my windows 7 PC however when i made the upgrade to windows 8.1 the game started to look like it was jumping frames however there was no other indication that it was so i was wondering if my windows 8.1 could be causing a problem if so is there any fix for it, I would love to be able to mod Skyrim again, any help you could give me would be much appreciated Thanks |

| 1402696 | 2015-06-15 11:20:00 | Could be a graphics driver issue . You probably can't do that comparison now between w7 and w8 . 1 so maybe as a test, turn the graphics details down on the game . If it improves without skipping frames, then its quite possibly the graphics driver and you may need to check your manufacturer for updated ones . If it continues, then the skipping could be caused by high cpu usage, whether it's the game or a background process . Check the games website and see if an update is required . Cheers, KK |
