Which I have witnessed myself. Ethnicity is not necessarily the issue, the issue is a general type of social attitude that makes it ok. It just so happens that that attitude stems from the "gangster" mentality that is so common today in various groups, of which ethnicity also has a part to play. |

| 1393052 | 2015-01-29 02:53:00 | Bob Kerridge appears to be telling it as it is, and he is backed up by the numbers of convictions (which are generally very low anyway compared to the size of the problems) and his experience on the job. However the PC brigade get their knickers in a twist, as to be expected. For example. "Dame Susan Devoy called Mr Kerridge's claims "unhelpful, wrong and incredibly offensive to a lot of people". Well, she has to say something like this doesn't she, so that she gives the appearance of doing her job ? Otherwise we don't hear much from her. www.radionz.co.nz |
