| 1391701 | 2015-01-18 01:52:00 | "Five killed in second day of Charlie Hebdo protests in Niger" "That again outraged many in the Muslim world, triggering violent demonstrations in Algeria, Niger and Pakistan on Friday." www.reuters.com I would suspect most likely none of those outraged Muslims have actually seen the sketch, they are just raging on hearsay. Then in any case, the cartoon is only Mahommed because an infidel said so, it looks like a cartoon of any of a zillion turbaned blokes, including Beanladen. |

Sad, stupid but dangerous little monkey brains. God help us all, including all the other creatures in the world. Not often I agree with stuff you write, but I sure think you nailed it with your post. |

| 1391703 | 2015-01-18 03:17:00 | There's a slippery slope if ever I saw one!Freedom of speech includes the ability to say anything to anyone at anytime. You start adding exceptions and soon we'll not be allowed to even think for ourselves in case we offend someone... There are no spoken or written words that are justification for anyone to go around killing people. Zqwerty has it dead on in his post above. And I don't often find myself agreeing with him!!!Freedom of speech is great until what is being said starts to pick on a group and becomes some part of hate. Does it give the right for racist speech? Or anti religion speech? Nazi propaganda is illegal in Germany, but isn't that Just a part of freedom of speech | plod (107) | ||

The facts are that if you make fun of religion someone gets hurt, so why do it? It serves no purpose. Just because you are free to do it does not mean that you should. |
