As soon as i changed to a higher resolution it crashed again. with /BASEVIDEO off and windows starting normally (works in safe mode) it restarts as soon as the windows loading screen finishes and where the login screen with higher res takes place. Recently I have been using TV-out, my graphics card is geforce 6600GT 128mb agp8x. the tv out had some problems, one blue screen of death (xp pro) saying DRIVER_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS or something like that. and a few times when i turn on the computer it doesn't start so i have to restart again. Is my graphics card buggered? I still have a warranty on it but I would rather just get it working again. the 256_1 in the error report might be because i set the memory size of gfx card in bios to 256 instead of 128, however i did this after the problem occured so its not the cause. plz help. thanks. james. |
