461826 2006-06-09 04:00:00 When booting up this machine, just after POST there is a PXE-E61 Media Test Failure. ... DHCP ...... etc

stops there for about 30 sec before Windows loads.

What is this about?

461827 2006-06-09 06:36:00 PXE = Pre-Boot Execution Environment.

In english - its a method of booting your machine from a network, assuming you had all the other bits to do it.

Anyway - if you go into the bios you should find that as well as harddisk, CD and whatever else it tries to boot from network is in their as well, either move it below the hard disk or remove the entry.

change your boot order settings in bios
i think pxe thing is something boot from network or something..can't remember

if you change your first boot device to your hdd then it should just boot straight into your system without the wait
