461738 2006-06-08 22:16:00 Have been asked to add a permanent signature to a friends business email using Thunderbird.

I added an extension to mine which enables me to add a choice of signatures to each email but he wants a permanent one that's there all the time.

Is there a solution to this or have I simply missed the point...?

Tks.

461739 2006-06-08 23:03:00 Tools > Account Settings.
Check "Attach this signature".
Click "choose" to browse for your signature file.

The signature can be a plain text .txt file or a .htm/.html file if you want logos, links etc.

461741 2006-06-09 06:13:00 The sig can also be a jpeg. I've got mine as jpeg including business logo with contact details etc underneath. Easy enough to do if you've got some sort of photo program to make it up. Shortcircuit (1666)
