461715 2006-06-08 15:48:00 Hi there,
I'm looking to upgrade my laptop (Toshiba A10-PSA10A-012NHP), but I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to fumbling around inside the actual machine itself.

So I'm asking the knowledgeable lot around here, how do I find out how many pins my RAM has?? And what's all this DDR SODIMM business? How is that relevant?

Any help greatly appreciated!!

461716 2006-06-08 19:36:00 get the program aida32 (google will find it easily) download/install it and run it that'll tell you everything about what hardware you have.........including the ram.......SODIMM stands for 'small outline dual inline memory module'......that's the type of ram used in laptops.......if yoru machine is'nt too old it'll be running the DDR type ...... drcspy (146)
