| 462330 | 2006-06-11 13:26:00 | Any ideas on how to prevent blocked spam reappearing? :( Ive been online since '95 and use very blocking aid available as well as "block sender' plus Rules for every subject topic possible but the persistent @#$% just change their name/address every few days and pop up again like - Hunger site- Which Ive had since 95 when my unsavvy daughter thought she was helping save the world? What have the geeks done to get around this please? |

I guess gmail filters according to all relevant criteria - origin, sender, subject, content, duplication etc. I don't see the problem with using Gmail and brightmail together. Give it a try. If you cannot afford to change your ISP email address, forward them automatically to a gmail account, then POP them over. A bit of a runaround, but it's all automated. May or may not be to your liking. Give it a try and see. |
