462256 2006-06-11 06:03:00 Hi there

Im a data co-ordinator for a local soccer club. At the start of every season, I encourage players (or their parents) to register their child Online, where one they enter the details can either choose to Print the page off and send it to me by mail along with their Cx, or send the info Online and pay their subs Online as well.

However, Im tired of entering over 100 names, age, addresses, schools, phone numbers, and deciphering email addresses from those who choose the Mail option.

So, this season, I want to reduce my workload by getting parents to sit at PC in the Club rooms, enter their childs data on a Webpage, then when completed, click a button that Prints & Submits the info.

When the page is printed off, they march along, sheet in hand, pay their sub, and hand in the sheet when they collect their uniform. The other option being they go to the Clubs online website, enter the data, then when Print is selected, the data gets exported (without them knowing) and prints out a sheet which they can bring in on the night. This allows those without Online banking to still register their child, and save time by simply paying & collecting their uniform, while I already hald the data.

I could make the Registration Night Online form in Excel and quicky do what Ive described, but Id like that Option with the Webpage as well.

Getting the entered data, from either means will save me hours of time. I simply need a way of getting the Website button, to Print out the website (which fits neatly onto an A4 sheet of paper) when the submit is pressed.

Thanks............John in Mosgiel.

462257 2006-06-11 06:32:00 Why don't you make it simply submit, and then re-display the information in a printable format, with a line at the top saying PRINT THIS OUT?

Otherwise, there is some code in Javascript which will let you make something print.
