| 462062 | 2006-06-10 21:56:00 | This old PIII computer freezes after leaving it on without any activities, (say about 15 min) - with the HDD indicator red light on. Just like goes into hybernation and cannot wake it up . Have to turn off the power and back on to re start the OS. It is running XP Pro SP2. I suspect the HDD is about to go. What you reckon? | 462063 | 2006-06-10 22:24:00 | dont guess.....simply goto www.seagate.com and download 'seatools' and TEST the hard drive.....or if it's not a seagate goto the manufacturers sited and get their diagnostic tool.........freezing could be motherboard/ram/anything..... | drcspy (146) | ||
