| 463202 | 2006-06-15 00:41:00 | Hi all The problem is this I have a site that uses session cookies, now if I remove a user and they are online they can continue working and changing stuff as my current system doesn't check back after they have logged in, it just relies on the cookie, I had thought to have the cookie check back with the server that it was still valid every time the user user changed page BUT The problem occurs that one page has a chat program running on it so the page therefore doesn't need to be changed Is there a way i can compare the cookie name with server side session name is there such a thing, I know very little about sessions and cookies and reading up on http://nz.php.net has lost me a bit to put it mildly Cheers |
