| 463113 | 2006-06-14 15:20:00 | Hi can anyone tell me how to superscript individual letters in the legend label box in Excel? It's easy to do this to the whole text but it's individual letters I need to do (need to include some powers of 10) Thanks a lot in advance! Mrs B |

I see no means of doing so directly, for some reason the text used for legend gets stripped of such formatting and cannot be individually character formatted after it's picked up as legend text. I would say it's a "bug" in Excel. However there is a "work-around, using numbers inserted in the source text using the "ALT+nnnn" format, holding the ALT key while using the number keypad. ALT 0185 in the source text will give a superscript "1" for instance. This carries through to the legend. |
