| 463067 | 2006-06-14 14:50:00 | hi, ive had my wireless network for abt 5 months it uses a Belkin 54g 802.11 wireless internet router, my cable modem plugs into it , my ISP is NTL im on a 4mb line.I have 2 computers on my network both using the same PCI wireless cards. However in the last month my connection seems to freeze for about 10-15 secs randomly, if i check my network connection status it says everythings fine good connection full speed but the webpage wont load and i lose connection to any games im playing,e.g counter strike source, when im playing and it freezes i cant move or see anyone or shoot but i can be killed, and once my connection returns all that was typed in the chat list can be seen, as if i nvr lost connection.I dont get disconnected from servers or have to restart my PC or router if it happens things return to normal once connection comes back. Ive got latest firmware for my router, and ive tried turning it off/on in order with modem and pc.I rung my ISP and they said everything is fine, ive also used abt 4 different anti-virus anti-spyware programs they've found nothing. Anyone got any ideas, cheers. |

| 463068 | 2006-06-14 15:05:00 | I may be off track here, but you got the router clear of any high frequency devices (like cordless ph base station) or anything that throws out large EMF? I know Belkins sposed to be able to autosense interference but I was just thinking an intermittant fault like that could be interference of some kind | straitjacket (9698) | ||
