| 462804 | 2006-06-13 13:29:00 | Outlook? As in Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express? Anyway, to turn off the previewing pane, just go to Tools -> Options. The effect? Outlook will not load the e-mail into the previewing pane when you click (accidentally or curiously) on it. For example, that particular e-mail might contain malwares. When you click on it, the attachment that comes along with it might get downloaded into your computer when it is loaded into the previewing panel. By disabling the previewing pane, you can choose to open your e-mail only if you double-click on it. I hope other PF1 members can make some extra comments here. Cheers :) |
