463246 2006-06-15 09:42:00 Im impressed with TV3s weather graphics, especially the Sunrise/Sunset boundary as it moves over NZ

Anyone know a place on the Net, where I can download or view something similiar?

Thanks............John in Mosgiel

463249 2006-06-15 12:29:00 I guess you're looking for an animated version of the results from this (aa.usno.navy.mil) page, shown here (www.imagef1.net.nz) . I used to have a bookmark for a great one, but long since lost. Try a Google for "sun's path". Greg (193)
463250 2006-06-15 22:07:00 Have a look at this (www.mapmaker.com) - it's an application and a screensaver (free, or you have the option to upgrade). Shows times around the world as well a sun position, moon position and sunrise sunset boundary (in real time)... johcar (6283)
463251 2006-06-16 02:54:00 I used to have a DOS programme which did that. I think it was called "Geoclock". Graham L (2)

Even though old, and only 16 colours, 800x600 VGA, it is still a good program, and runs OK in XP:

This screen grab was taken at 5.04pm and shows NZ just getting into darkness.

It can probably still be downloaded from Simtel or Garbo.

The unregistered version is a bit limited in maps, but quite adequate.

463253 2006-06-16 06:29:00 This is a better Geoclock map:

Geoclock it is.

463255 2006-06-16 10:23:00 After posting I "re-discovered" the Geoclock page, the windows version is compatible with all windows up to XP, apparently.
