| 462903 | 2006-06-13 22:23:00 | I have 26 Startup Items running. How do I find out what each item covers and which are necessary? I have seen a site somewhere that lists many items, what they are for and how important they are. Thanks for any help you can give me on my problem. Pat. |

Or choose two or three startup items and enter them in Google - copy them exacly as they appear in the startup items listed under msconfig.exe or other program that reveals them. I did this last year and Google led me to some great sites that have a long list of startup items with descriptions and info about eliminating them. |
