| 462819 | 2006-06-13 11:53:00 | I'm writing a letter in Word Perfect and would like to properly spell a name with an accent over the letter e. I know it's possible but I don't know how to use the various "foreign" letters. Can anyone help? | BrotherDragon (10117) | ||

Holding the "ALT" key down, then enter 0233 with the 10-pad, and release the "ALT" key . Your accented "e" should appear in your document . The actual instruction looks like this: (ALT+0233) I for some reason cannot use "ALT" keys on this site, although others can or cannot . It seems to be vague as to whom it allows to use them . You can insert these "ALT" codes into most any document generated by you on the puter though . Here's a site for the "ALT" codes that you can print out and keep for reference: . its . psu . edu/suggestions/international/accents/codealt . html" target="_blank">tlt . its . psu . edu |
