463637 2006-06-16 09:43:00 Ok, here is there problem with my sound card the whole story, i have a windos xp systemax which had sound before i did this (reboot) and then one day i could not find my reboot disk because my mom did not get any virus protecters and sorts for the pc then i asked my mom if i can use her bf's reboot disk and then i poped it in then when it was done it said microsoft xp home edition and i was like, hmm i think i upgraded the pc and better to know my speakers did not play music and telling you that i have 3 kinds of speakers brand new and they all didnt work so i went to control panel for my sounds and then it said there is no sound devices deteced what does this mean? 463640 2006-06-16 11:23:00 Find out the brand and model of the soundcard if its a PCI version or the brand and model of the motherboard if its integrated.

With that information you can goto the manufacturers website and get the nesscary drivers for your sound card.
