| 464422 | 2006-06-19 07:33:00 | Hi I have a laptop with docking station and a desktop PC, both of which connect to the internet and to each other via a US Robotics wireless router. Both machines run WinXP(home). The docking station connects to three printers with USB cable. The problem is if I wish to print from either the desktop PC, or the laptop when its not sat on the docking station. I understand that to achieve this I either need a separate printer server, or replace with wireless router with one which also operates as a printer server. I've had conflicting advice on this so far, so would appreciate thoughts on the best way to go! Cheers |
