| 464043 | 2006-06-18 04:04:00 | I'm just reformatting a 15gig drive for Win98. Never done a partition before, so thought this a good opportunity to play. Will be using FDISK. 1. Suggested partition sizes eg c: 13 gig, d:2 gig etc? 2. Which one do I install the operating system on? Any other tips welcome (beside "Google is your friend" :lol: ) Thanks |

| 464045 | 2006-06-18 04:39:00 | i don't like useing fdisk for doing partitioning. randish is quite good. your choice on sizes, all depends on if there is any chance you will upgrade to w2k/xp. if there is then make it big enough. otherwise i would go withc drive being 5 gig and d drive 10 gig. |
