| 464008 | 2006-06-18 01:58:00 | I have just had a skirmish with Spyware Quake. My fault - due to my own mismanagement of my Zone Alarm Pro firewall which caused me to let it in. My OS is Windows 2000 SP4 Using my Antivirus software (e-Trust), and anti-spyware software I appear to have successfully removed/quarantined the Spyware Quake software. However, the warning icon remains active in my system tray, and periodically a "Your Computer is Infected" notice will appear on my screen directing me to the Spyware Quake site again. How does one identify the name of this icon, and remove it from my system tray? Any advice greatly appreciated Regards Noel |
