464012 2006-06-18 03:21:00 The PC itself is fine for high end gaming accept the integrated video card. The one you purchased "Geforce 6200" is still not that flash, as it is considered an entry level card.

I did a quick Google against the lowest gaming level card I would now buy (6600GT) and as you can see it is no where near as good.

Bad choice my friend, see if you can return it and buy something decent.

464013 2006-06-18 03:24:00 your not going to get a good card in a PCI slot anyway.

has it got a PCIe slot or AGP slot?

Lol I am pretty sure he means PCIe, the 6200 doesn't come in the old PCI format.

Those are the only bits that matter, the rest is software and clutter.
Dell is clogged with junk, you'd need to turn off mot of it for a start.
It doesn't say what brands anything is either - what brand is the motherboard???
What brand hard drive?
What brand DVD?
And only 1 year warranty....sigh.....the CPU is a 3 year manufacturers warranty for a start....so already you lose out.
And then its ring India when something goes wrong.
Does it even have a PCI-E graphics slot? PCI is no good at all. Its even worse than AGP.
6200 is useless, even a 6600GT is pushing it now for high end gaming.
Send it back - its not "suitable for the purpose", which is gaming. ITs a grannys internet box, and even then its probably rubbish components.

Never buy chainstore hardware if you're serious.
