| 464581 | 2006-06-19 21:47:00 | On my; Asus 8V-MX mobo (Athlon 64), running WinXP Pro, I have on board sound - Realtek AC97 Audio for Via (R) Audio Controller. The problem is the sound is tinny, sounds like people are speaking in a pipe or something - really awful for trying to use Skype or listen to the commentary from my wife's videoing. I've tried every config I can think of and Googled as well, also changed speakers. But I still have the problem  . Would anyone have any suggestions please. |
