Remember, too, that some phones are virtually computers since they can send and receive emails, connect to the internet, connect to a computer to upload and download contact lists, ring tones, etc .

Then you have the PDA kind that really are a miniature PC .

Like it or not, it looks like anything that can plug into a PC is fair game for an article or story in PC World these days, Jack . :D

Fair point but, if you don't want to read about portable house phones either don't buy the mag or just flick past the article. I'm not saying I REALLY want to read about home phones but I'm sure there are people out there who do, so is response to your comment, you can not complain if there is a market out there for articles on home phones.
