464479 2006-06-19 12:15:00 No, you would need a program that installs a macro / option like Omnipage.

So, you can scan from within Word.

Then once its scanned, it'll spellcheck it, and then u edit the document u scanned.

This came up recently and the answer is no. You cannot convert an image file to text without printing it out and rescanning with an OCR program.

If you can't print/OCR it, you will have to retype it.
