| 464479 | 2006-06-19 12:15:00 | No, you would need a program that installs a macro / option like Omnipage. So, you can scan from within Word. Then once its scanned, it'll spellcheck it, and then u edit the document u scanned. |

You cannot convert an image file to text without printing it out and rescanning with an OCR program.
