465384 2006-06-23 02:05:00 This old PIII PC's AGP card, S3Trio3D/2X (86C362) isn't working properly. Downloaded the Beta driver ver: 5.3.005 but it still doesn't display 32 bit true colour (only max. 24 bit true colour). Went to S3Trio site and it seems that they have discontinued this card and driver other than the above is available. Have also searched the web but to no available.

Is there any other alternate drivers that I can use for this AGP card? OS is XP.

Cheers

465385 2006-06-23 02:17:00 there won't be an XP driver for it. you will be lucky if there is a w2k for it.

simply put throw that peice of crap card out. a cheap $50 budget nividia or ati card is a million times better than that card. even a 2nd hand tnt or early gforce is a miilion times better.

the S3trio where budget cards back in early p2 days.

465386 2006-06-23 02:57:00 If I remember correctly it could only run at 24-bit. I had one on a PC Direct P133 machine. BTW: When I installed a TNT my power died. KiwiTT_NZ (233)
