466822 2006-06-28 05:13:00 My aurora One (accounting software) used to be able to send out remittance advice. Now this error message appears. 550 error: Your subject has too many subsequent spaces. Please change the subject and try again.. Any idea what the cause is and how to resolve it? Taurus (9579)
466823 2006-06-28 10:09:00 At a guess, it doesn't like what you typed in the Subject line.
Is it long or just one or two words?

466824 2006-06-29 10:50:00 The subject line is "remittance advice". It's automatically generated by the software. I am not able to change the subject line. Software company told me it's some other program that is blocking the sending out of remittance advice by email. Have no idea what that program is. Taurus (9579)

Look particularly at your ISP's spam mail filters, and make sure that you are connecting to the same ISP as you are attempting to send through.

The error message could be a red herring, but the error number suggests that you are connecting via different ISP to the one set in your system SMTP settings.
