| 466579 | 2006-06-27 02:30:00 | i have a 2 pc network ( a spc running as a server with server 2003 enterprise and a laptop) the laptop is running XP Pro, DHCP, DNS and the like are installed on the server, BUT how do i get the Laptop to use a dialup connection (dont laugh) and dial through the server? ICS is a pain as the server doesnt seem to be dialing automatically (even when the dial when another pc on the network tries to access the net option is checked) and i cant seem to get a default gateway thru DHCP, i have to do it with a static IP. any ideas? RRAS doesnt help either, keeps saying it cant connect (i am with Xtra dialup) | aidanmaz (7180) | ||
