| 466574 | 2006-06-27 02:23:00 | Click Start, Run and type "control userpasswords2", and click Ok. Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" option, and click Ok Hope that does the trick |

| 466575 | 2006-06-27 02:51:00 | download Powertoys for Xp, install. now go start\All Programs\Powertoys\TweakUI expand login, and select autologin, fill in the details. Only good if you are the only user. |

| 466576 | 2006-07-04 02:31:00 | OK got rid of the password but now each time it logs in as Administrator. I want to login as a set user (am the only user at this stage). There must be a way to do this without third party software?! Found a site with the following: 1. At a command prompt, type "control userpasswords2" and press Enter to open the Windows 2000-style User Accounts application. 2. On the Users tab, clear the Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To Use This Computer check box and then click OK. 3. In the Automatically Log On dialog box that appears, type the user name and password for the account you want to be logged on each time you start your computer. There is no Automatically Log On dialog box!!!! Appreciate some help please. Thanks |
