I dont care in the slightest if her bosses are happy with her, My opinions come from me. Its like being in Harvey Norman's and hearing a salesman talk utter rubbish about the products, and I told the last one of those he was a moron as well.That doesn't make Theresa or the Harvey Norman salesperson a moron. They are simply aware that Joe average has an IQ of merely 100, and take advantage of that fact to do the job of selling whatever product, service, or concept it is their job to sell. |

| 467584 | 2006-07-02 07:50:00 | The reason we get raped by telecom is because we allow them to do it. Money is how they operate - it is a corporation afterall. She's doing a job - making money. There's no point in just hating her. I actually think she did a crap job in one regard though- letting it get to the point of a law change was way too far - she should have cut he losses and kept people happy with cheaper broadband offerings, well at least from her perspective. I hate the whole system - it was great to see the share price plummet - it shows how much money they were actually making. Check out our cell phone rates - waayyy too damn much, I'm gonna ask for an investigation with the commerce commission, see how that turns out. The system is actually pretty good here - noone uses it effectively. :D |

There is a lot of people that actually believe all the "new improved lemon powered" waffle they are fed. Harvey Normans sales staff will happily quote 1,000watt output specs on a battery powered ghetto blaster.Why? Because the manufacturers claim it, and the consumer is so STUPID that he/she/it often believes it, without question. The same can be said of telecoms customer base, most of whom are members of the general public. Do i need to say more? |

Ask yourself this: Do you actually know the names of the people who make the decisions at telecom? Chances are the only one you know is Theresa. She's a human shield, and a well paid one too! She'd have to be. Theresa takes the flak, is actively hated by many, and the people running telecom, including Theresa, get on with the job of making it as profitable as they can. |
