| 467310 | 2006-06-29 12:34:00 | I'm setting up Ventrillo (first time user) and am unable to connect to my friends' server. I'm on a PC running Windows XP (2nd ed. SP) Ventrillo 2.3.2 beta 3 address: 144.140.155.105 port 3985 I've triple checked the address and port numbers. No problems there, and friends in Australia confirm it's working. The server is in Australia and I live in Taiwan. Could that be my problem? When I run tracert, I get timed out at the 18th node(!) with a delay of more than 5 seconds :badpc: The last node I connect to before timing out is at telstra.net: 139.130.1.246 |

But when I ran tracert from my office PC, I get the same timeout at the same node as my home PC . :waughh: Why wouldd I get a timout on both PCs at this node, yet Vent connects successfully from one but not the other? |
