1393643 2015-02-04 23:40:00 Looking for a VPN client that will run on Windows 7, 8.1 and Android (Lollipop).

Must be reliable, fast, and have unlimited bandwidth - cheap is good, too...

Currently using TunnelBear (Free) - but don't know what their speeds are like for a subscription...

1393645 2015-02-05 20:13:00 Is this for international, intentionally, or are you just wanting to run your own, like OpenVPN?

I've used TunnelBear, speeds good enough to stream Transformers in 720p over when I unlocked it by buying a Nexus 7.

1393647 2015-02-06 00:56:00 Any reason not to use a DNS service if that's all you want it for? Alex B (15479)

A DNS service would be "always on" wouldn't it?

1393649 2015-02-06 02:35:00 Yes, but so what? For me I have UnoTelly DNS at the router so all internet DNS request in the house are forwarded to UnoTelly. They have an Auckland server and I haven't found it slows things down. Alex B (15479)
1393650 2015-02-06 06:55:00 Yeah most of them are fine / better in that respect. UnblockUS works for most of my mates. If you have Gargoyle you can intercept the DNS quite easily too from the devices so you don't even have to worry about fiddling around, and it autocorrects the likes of the Chromecast :) Chilling_Silence (9)

I just wanted to test this DNS service and found it rather difficult to get it going on the router :o

1393652 2015-02-07 02:55:00 I just wanted to test this DNS service and found it rather difficult to get it going on the router :o  To test you would need to go to their site, sign up for a free 30 day account, then enter in the DNS servers address in your router, replacing what you have now, and away it should go. You cant simply enter in their DNS settings, that wont work.

Another one that works well and does exactly the same thing is https://www.unblock-us.com/ Was at a person place a while back and they had setup the 30 day trial already a day or so before so they could test out the AppleTV they had just brought. It worked fine.
