| 1393186 | 2015-01-28 03:28:00 | Yes, you can't help feeling sorry for Microsoft. Why? They laughed (www.youtube.com) at and ridiculed the iPhone when it was first announced. Now look at Windows Phone (redmondmag.com) I am feeling sorry for the guys and girls at IBM.. they haven't been able to adapt fast enough to the arrival of Cloud storage and other new stuff. |

| 1393187 | 2015-01-28 03:53:00 | The iPhone is still a laughing stock, always playing catchup with all others, copying their ideas and then having the cheek to market them as their own at an exorbitant cost | gary67 (56) | ||

Waiiitttt....so you don't feel sorry for Microsoft. Microsoft wasn't able to adapt fast enough to the change in the computing market, hence why they're not doing as well as they could have been. But you feel sorry for IBM...who wasn't able to adapt quick enough as well? Why feel sorry for IBM but not Microsoft? - the two are very similar in why they could be doing better than they are. I don't know about IBM, but at least Microsoft appears to be moving rapidly in the right direction - heavy cloud emphasis, cross platform apps, continuing with Windows Phone - which is actually a great OS hindered by a poorer app selection - and with Windows 10, bringing a really nice looking mix of Windows 7 and 8 to the desktop. You really are a pro Apple, anti MS shill. |

Profit is what counts. Microsoft is providing the phone and the OS which is slightly unfamiliar territory for them. |

That is very true although they, like Blackberry, have had ample warning that change was afoot. They just chose to ignore it for the most part. MS is definitely trying to make the right moves as it tries to adapt although with their size and the rate of change I am not sure if they will be able to adapt fast enough. They are a very big ship and big ships turn slowly. |
