| 1404466 | 2015-07-11 10:03:00 | Long shot but wonder if someone has any idea what would cause my ext WD Essentials 1TB USB2 drive to shut down a few seconds after winding up . Does the same on a couple of other drives so it is in the interface board . Both 5V and 12V are there at all times so it doesn't seem to be a voltage problem . Must be some signal/condition not being met, I guess . The drive is fine so I will just flag this issue and use it as an internal drive . Better result than a stuffed drive of course! But I am just wondering what might have happened . |
