Sorry, but it's not always a blanket "yes" answer, it depends entirely on the Works and Word versions, which we don't know at this stage. Hence the free converter supplied for those cases where it is not compatable. | 467864 | 2006-07-02 09:17:00 | Works gives you the option to save its files as either Word or RTF files, plus a few other options besides. I have an archive of old WPS and WKS files that I need to resurrect from time to time and all I have to do is open the file in Works and save it as the file type I need (*.doc or *.xls). Works is a relatively low-overhead installation, so I just keep a copy on my computer for times when I need to access an archived file. Of course if you don't have a copy of Works available, then that's a different matter. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
