| 468139 | 2006-07-03 02:05:00 | It started with Silent Hunter 3, then Act of War, then battlefield 2. All other games continue to work. Cannot reinstall these games. Have updated Spybot, Adaware and trend PC, scanned without results. Something is quietly and systematically taking out all my favourite games. | magoo (8731) | ||
| 468140 | 2006-07-03 02:23:00 | As a last resort you may need to reinstall Windows. I haven't heard about worms or viruses targetting games specifically, but who knows? It could also be a hardware problem such as faulty memory, but hardware problems would probably be more intermittent and would not cause problems with installing specific software. |
