| 467701 | 2006-07-01 08:55:00 | I am running windows xp. just lately my cd drive seems not to recognise cds. The read light flashes. the disk spins but nothing else. If I go to file manager it wont let me see what is on the cd However dvd disk still work just fine? I checked device manager it says all is fine any ideas?? regards, ojos |

| 467702 | 2006-07-02 02:54:00 | Probably a stuffed CD drive. Try one of the discs on another drive that you know works and if you can read the files chances are you need a new CD drive. | Tukapa (62) | ||
| 467703 | 2006-07-02 05:43:00 | I had a similar trouble, but it was due to a new program I had installed. I actually returned to an earlier restore point and that solved the problem. |
