| 468749 | 2006-07-05 06:29:00 | Hi all I am a longtime firefox user, but there is one feature that IE has that I can't seem to get for firefox, (ironically the only other place i have seen this feature working is on the linux command line) when I start typing a website in IE It puts its suggestions in a dropdown box with the most likely one (normally the root of the site) in the address bar if i press tab it goes to the end of the suggested address and I can type in the page i want when I start typing a website in FireFox It puts its suggestions in a dropdown box, but it is just not as good as IE (never thought i would say that) as an example I typed "ni" (sans quotes) and heres what happens in IE and Firefox click here (nigel.geek.nz) I really like this feature, and any suggestions on how to get it working in firefox would be appreciated Cheers |
