I installed office beta 2007 a few weeks ago and found it really good but for one thing, if I emailed office 07 files to others they couldnt open them. So this morning I uninstalled it and reverted back to office 97(old faithfull).

Now I cant open any of my old office files, I have tried the folder options thing and cant seem to get them to associate, anyone got any ideas?

469092 2006-07-07 00:55:00 If you saved all your files in the 2007 format, you can't revert back to 97.
You will have to go back to 2007 and save them as an older form or in .csv and rebuild it all.

Do remember that it is still beta so I would reccommend not to use working systems and accounts to test beta products. I've made a seperate partiotn with Office and Vista so it doens't interfere with my Xp install.

Saying that it did interfere with my hardware and I couldn't get internet running in XP. beta fun huh?! :2cents:
